Last night, Swink at the U Village in Seattle was filled with women (and a few men
dressed in pink outfits and accessories, all in the name of Breast Cancer Awareness. Girl Power Hour celebrates women and stylish, fun networking. Amazing food and treats were in abundance from Design Perfect Catering and Jenny Cookies, as well as mini dry styles and mini makeup touch-ups from Swink. The entire event was sponsored by David R. Stephens MD, Center for Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pourmassina from the Polyclinic gave an empowering talk about breast cancer detection and prevention, and author and breast-expert Elisabeth Dale focused on the topic of breasts and how to keep them at their best.
The first 40 women got to take home a swag bag filled with so many great goodies that it’d take me a half-hour to list them out. Chocolate, pink nail polish, skin care, discounts – lots and lots of goodies!
